A technique patented by Barovier & Toso for the manufacture of the glass elements allows them to obtain a regular white-striped effect on the transparent glass elements. Metal parts with white enamel finish.
The history of Barovier & Toso dates back to as far as 1295, and numerous museum collections include some of their finest glass work. As a member of the Barovier family dynasty, in 1450 Angelo Barovier invented Venetian crystal glass.
Their original tools are kept under a lock and key in the Barovier & Toso Museum in Venice, Italy. Each generation of master glass blowers at the factory hand down their craft to the next generation.
